April’s Box: Leap Frog
Welcome to april’s Box!
April’s activity box is inspired by the vibrant and interactive story ‘Leap Frog’ written by Jane Clarke and illustrated by Britta Teckentrup.
Leap Frog is an engaging and interactive story about a little frog called Felix who shows lots of bravery to get back home for bedtime. The story is filled with bright, neon artwork and together, you and your little one will help Felix get back home by reassuring him when he gets scared.
This is the perfect book to start those conversations about bravery.
This box will be posted on Monday 29th March.
The box includes everything you need to complete four activities and many more featured on our website.
Included in this box:
The book and everything you will need to complete the following activities:
Build a cinnamon sensory dough and felt tree
Learn about being brave
Grow cucumbers and make a cucumber hideout
Make a garland
Plus many more activities from our activities section!
Our sibling box will contain enough resources for two children to complete all the activities.
Please Note:
We send chia seeds with this box and although they are edible, they may cause an upset stomach if a large amount is eaten.
This activity box is not suitable for children under 36 months and contains small parts that may be choking hazards.
Please note that our boxes are an educational resource. Adults will be required to do the activities with their child and children cannot be left unsupervised with the box and it’s contents. You must supervise your children while they interact with the resources in this box.
Although the playdough may look and smell appetising, due to its high salt content it is not edible. This playdough contains flour (gluten), coconut oil, cream of tartar, salt, food colouring, glycerine and cinnamon.
Our playdough is handmade using food grade, toxic free ingredients. All our playdough is independently tested by a lab to UKCA EN17-3 to ensure that no chemicals come into contact with your child’s skin.
Although we have taken every precaution possible, we cannot guarantee that there are no traces of nuts or other allergens in our products. Our boxes are made in an environment in which nuts and other allergens are used.
Whilst we work hard to produce consistent colours in our playdough, there could be slight colour variations due to the dyes used and colours may vary slightly between batches.
The playdough will be sent in compostable bags. Please transfer the playdough into an airtight container and place the bag in your compost or green bin.
