Car Skittles

This is a great game to play on a rainy afternoon and ideal if you had siblings or cousins to play against. I’ve kept the ramp that I created for this game so that I can quickly get this game out if we have ten minutes to fill.

Set Up

Surprisingly this didn’t get long to set up. I cut out the side of the box from a monthly supply of nappies and then using a ruler I created the track. A quick search in the toy box for the cars and plastic cups and we were ready.

My little one absolutely loved this game and laughed when his car, on the odd occasion hit the plastic cups.

I was under strict instructions from my little one, that I was not allowed to play! He got a little annoyed when I tried to have a turn. Typical toddler. Instead I had to say “ready steady” and my son shouted “go.”

This would be a great activity for my little one to learn to take turns with either myself or a friend. It would also be great fun to play with other children and race together.

This is a game we will continue to play as he gets older.
