October’s Box: Leaf

Kids Autumn Educational Activity Box

Welcome to october’s Box!

October’s activity box is inspired by the beautiful book, ‘Leaf’ by Sandra Dieckmann.

‘Leaf’ is a wonderful and timely story which explores the impact of climate change and the value of learning from those that appear different to us.

It follows the story of a Polar Bear who arrives unexpectedly in the woods and his attempts to fly home to his family. The other animals in the woods fear him because he is different and believe he is dangerous until they hear his story…

It is a story with multiple meanings and one that will be enjoyed and read for many years.

This box will be posted on Tuesday 6th October.

The box includes everything you need to complete four activities and many more featured on our website.

  • Although the playdough may look and smell appetising, due to its high salt content it is not edible. This playdough contains flour (gluten), coconut oil, cream of tartar, salt, food colouring, glycerine and food extract. Although we have taken every precaution possible, we cannot guarantee that there are no traces of nuts or other allergens in our products.

  • Whilst we work hard to produce consistent colours in our playdough, there could be slight colour variations due to the dyes used and colours may vary slightly between batches.

  • The playdough will be sent in a compostable bag. When you receive your box please place the playdough in an airtight container and the bag in your compost or green bin.
