Our April Activities!
Our activities for your investigators!
This month your children will be:
Designing their own bee-friendly herb garden.
Growing thyme, basil and chives to help their local bee population.
Crafting their own colourful bunting for their garden.
Using the information they learn from the book and the activity to solve a number of different crossword challenges.
Bees play a crucial role in our natural world and sadly bees are becoming endangered. Without bees, we would be in serious trouble because one out of every three mouthfuls of our food depends on pollinators such as bees. That means we need to protect them and teach our children just how important bees are!
This box teaches children about how fascinating bees are but also how to respect and care for them.
Our activities for your Explorers!
This month your children will be:
Creating and playing with their own forest
Growing a willow tree
Making leaf and bark rubbings
Creating two fingerprint Tree works of art
These activities are all designed to explore our connection with the world around us and develop empathy, mindfulness and personal growth.
This box will give your children first-hand experiences that will encourage exploration, critical thinking, and decision-making and open up wonderful discussions about the world we live in.
The activities are gentle, lots of fun and there is plenty of guidance in your activity cards.
